Sauvignon Blanc - Varietal

2006 - Clean and shimmering light gold in color. The nose features citrus fruit such as mandarin orange and white fruit such as pear and peach, plus a more exotic note of cherimoyas and a subtle hint of green chilies. The palate follows true to its aromatic nose. Ripe fruit and well-integrated acidity lend a well-rounded yet crisp mouthfeel. Its most notable characteristic is the minerality so typical of Limarí that lends structure and carries through on the finish with mandarin and peach-banana fruit.

2005 - Vino de color amarillo muy suave y brillos verde agua, con aromas a manzanas, grosellas y melón. En la boca es fresco, elegante y de largo final, destacando su sutil sabor a hierba fresca, y a lima y fruto de la pasión.

It's colour is a light and delicate yellow with subtle glints of gold and green. Enticing aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit and apricot are the perfect introduction to the palate, which, with its marvelous sensations of passion fruit and fresh acidity, lingers subtly and fills the mouth elegantly. Well balanced and easy drinking it is a wine for many occasions.

2003 - SILVER - JAPAN WINE CHALLENGE - JAPAN 2003
This wine is vibrant yellow in colour, with hints of green. The nose is extremely attractive and fresh, with gooseberry, rose and grapefruit characteristics displaying their true beauty in perfect harmony. Crisp, well balanced acidity on the palate gives this wine a lively personality, and subtle notes of passion fruit round off an elegant finish.

Chardonnay - Reserve

2005 - Bright greenish-golden yellow in color with aromas of ripe fruit such as bananas, pears, and peaches with a touch of citrus recalling mandarin orange, accompanied by the mineral and anise notes that are typical of the region. Oak ageing also lends accents of butterscotch and white chocolate. The palate is broad and dense, with fruit at the forefront, and the subtle Limarí Valley mineral touch lends personality. Precise balance between volume and structure gives rise to a sense of harmony. White flowers and anise on the finish.

2003 - Bright yellow in colour, resembling the reflection of the sun's rays in crystal clear waters. On the nose the aromas are intense and complex, with notes of honey, lemon verbena, pineapple and vanilla showing through. The palate is delicious, with a fresh and friendly approach that is full of marvelous flavours, such as figs, caramel, butter and honey. The finish is long and full of finesse.

Stunning aromas of pineapple, coconut, lime and honey jump out at the nose, wrapped in a cloak of lively golden yellow colours. Viognier - Chardonnay - Reserve

2005 - The intensely brilliant light golden-yellow colour introduces aromas of ripe and exotic fruit, such as banana, pineapple, and guava, with a citrus touch of mandarin orange backed by notes of cream, vanilla, and coconut from oak ageing. The palate confirms the generous aromatic profile with a big, dense attack balanced by the mineral-based structure from our Viña Casa Tamaya terroir and continues on to a finish that reflects its complexity.

Light, delicate yellow in colour, this originally blended wine attracts with aromas of ripe pears and peaches, together with notes of pineapple, guava and maracuya. The palate is well balanced, with fine vanilla touches that accompany the fruit perfectly. The wine is rounded off with hints of caramel and honey, and has a deliciously long finish.

2004 - Very light yellow in color, with a delicate, well-achieved balance of good fruit and fine oak on the nose. The palate is flavorful, fresh, and richly nuanced with pineapple, mandarin orange, and peach flavors over a mineral backdrop characteristic of the Viña Casa Tamaya terroir.

Cabernet Sauvignon - Reserve

2006 - Elegant and authoritative purplish-ruby-red in colour, with a fresh, mineral nose that begins with notes of licorice, meat, and smoked chilli pepper. The fruit character slowly comes forward with black currant, cherries, raspberries, and finally dried aromatic herbs, heightened by notes of pencil lead and smoke. The cool climate vineyard lends a firm character and great personality to this Cabernet. The first impression on the palate is juiciness and texture with an escort of strong, tight tannins. Patience pays off to discover all the potential of this wine.

2005 - Color rubí granate intenso y profundo. La nariz entrega licor y frutas de cassis, algo de confitura de moras, frambuesas y toques de tomillo, con un fondo de carácter mineral dado por notas a piedras húmedas. Aromas entregados por la guarda en roble, brindan además tonos a pan tostado, café y notas a humo. En boca se encuentra fruta vibrante, con una estructura firme al servicio de una buena y jugosa textura. La carga tánica, potente y expresiva, llama a una guarda suplementaria. Tiene un final potente, que confirma lo anterior.

Intense red in colour, with delicate touches of purple, the aromas of this fine wine exude small red fruits, harmoniously blended with an elegant hint of smoky vanilla. On the palate refined notes of truffles, chocolate and spices impress with their balance and structure, whilst the smooth, yet firm, tannins add a little extra poise. The result is a wine with plenty of strength and character.

Carmenere - Reserve

2006 - Impressive, deep, dark violet-purple in colour, with an expressive nose rich in blackberries, blueberries, and candied raspberries, with a touch of red bell pepper and dried tomatoes. The mineral and floral notes lend elegance, while the fresh oak and subtle, spicy vanilla add even more complexity. Potent on the palate; juicy, dense, and perfectly balanced due to its solid yet velvety and completely integrated tannins, as well as a delicious acidity, which comes as a result of its cool climate. The finish recites the broad range of aromatics as it progresses closer and closer to its maximum potential.

Color rubí púrpura intenso y profundo. Nariz muy expresiva de fruta madura en jalea, cómo el cassis, cerezas negras y grosellas. Notas de regaliz anisado y romero, sobre otras de morrón maduro. Los toques balsámicos de cedrón mentolado provenientes de su crianza en roble, se juntan con acentos de zarzamora y puntúan el ensamble. La tipicidad y voluptuosidad de la cepa se revelan en una boca que balancea su carácter explosivo gracias a su buena frescura. Vino de rojo intenso, de aroma especiado, con notas a café, mora, tabaco, chocolate y vainilla. En la boca aparecen además resabios de tierra húmeda. Es un vino de paladar amable, muy personal y de carácter original.

A deep, bright and lively ruby-red colour precedes the nose, which features pronounced personality with damp forest floor, small, ripe fruits, sour cherries, plums, and blueberries. Complexity comes with notes of truffle, bay leaf, and smoked meat, and spices from the oak ageing over a mineral backdrop that recalls hot stones. Vigorous on the palate, with a strong, assertive attack that develops a texture of firm tannins with a freshness that carries the fruit through to a wild autumn finish.

A beautifully intense red colour brings this wine immediately to life. The nose attracts with memorable aromas of small black fruits, blueberries and blackberries. Very bright and lively ruby red. Attractive aromas of creamy blackberries and cherries on the nose are complimented by a touch of pink peppercorns with a stony mineral note typical of the area. Notes of meat, rosemary, and thyme backed by a bit of toast and coffee suggest good gastronomic potential. The palate begins soft and velvety and opens to show very civilized, very well-integrated tannins. Bright fruit backed by a fresh and lively structure show harmony and balance. Tobacco, red fruit, and a balsamic note appear on the finish with a mineral note that reflects the typicity of this unique wine.

De hermoso color rojo vivo. Tiene aromas a cassis, mora, cedro, trufas y fina vainilla. En la boca se siente suave y consistente, con un sabor de fondo a pequeños frutos negros, más un sutil toque mineral.

Smooth, firm tannins are fully evident on the palate, accompanied harmoniously by a touch of fine spices, blackberries and blueberries. An elegant, long finish rounds this wine off perfectly.

Syrah - Reserve

2006 - Intense, dark purple so deep it is almost black. The nose shows all the typicity of the variety - slightly sweet and floral with notes of violets, raspberries, and blackberries, along with black olives and licorice. Notes of roasted meat with pink peppercorns blend with subtle vanilla, and balsamic wood, accented by menthol. The palate follows the nose and is both fresh and sweet over a texture of fine, tight, and flavourful tannins that emphasize the energy of the fruit and add voluptuousness. The long finish pays homage to the variety and the vineyard with great promise for the future.

Vino de tinte rojo profundo, con aromas especiados, muy frutal. En la boca aparecen además notas a frutos rojos pequeños, salame y a una vainilla sutil. Es un vino equilibrado, de taninos firmes pero elegantes y de un carácter ligeramente mineral, debido al árido suelo en que se cultivan las uvas.

Pink Goat (Rose De Syrah)

Intense bright pink in colour. Beautiful aromas of wild red fruits such as cherries, strawberries and raspberries, together with smacks of blackberry and pomegranate, impress on the nose. A sweet and creamy edge gives this wine an extra twist. Smooth and round in the mouth, the fresh fruit is extremely well balanced with a refreshing acidity.
